Terms of Service

Last updated October 13, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Verisling (“we”) for using verisling.com and the Verisling service. By creating an account or using Verisling, you agree to them. If you use Verisling for a company, you agree on its behalf and confirm you’re allowed to.

Who can use Verisling

Verisling is for businesses. You must be at least 18 to create an account. You can’t use Verisling if you’re located in, or acting for someone in, a country or region under comprehensive US sanctions (currently Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Russian-occupied regions of Ukraine), or if you’re on a US sanctions list.

Contacts who open a request link or a mailbox page don’t need an account. When they use it, the sections on acceptable use and on our responsibilities apply to them too.

Your account and team

  • Keep your sign-in details secure. You’re responsible for what happens under your account.
  • Admins decide who joins the organization and what they can do. The organization is responsible for its members’ use of Verisling.
  • Request links and report links work for anyone who has them. Send them only to the people they’re meant for, and replace or turn off a link that went to the wrong person.

Price

Verisling is free during early access. Before paid plans apply to you, we’ll tell you the price at least 30 days in advance, and you can export your records or leave before then. Paid plans will come with their own billing terms.

Your content

Everything you and your contacts put into Verisling (requests, answers, photos, videos, files and notes) is yours, or theirs. You give us permission to store, process and show it only as needed to run Verisling for you, to keep it secure, and as the law requires.

You’re responsible for having the right to collect what you ask for. That includes telling the people you send requests to what you’re collecting and why, and having any agreement, permission or consent that the law, your supplier agreements or the workplace require. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Verisling to:

  • record anyone secretly, or ask someone to;
  • film or photograph people as the subject of a request; people may appear incidentally while products or premises are being shown;
  • request images of military, government or critical-infrastructure sites;
  • collect anything unlawful, infringing, or that you have no right to;
  • harass, deceive or threaten anyone, or send spam;
  • get around security or usage limits, probe or overload the service, or access another organization’s data;
  • copy Verisling to build a competing product.

Sourcing agents and other businesses may use Verisling to work for their own clients. We may remove content or suspend access that breaks these rules, and will tell you why when we can.

What evidence in Verisling shows

Verisling records when each file was captured, whether it was recorded in the page or uploaded, and a fingerprint that shows whether it changed afterwards. It doesn’t check that what a contact shows is accurate, complete or representative.

Verisling isn’t an inspection, testing or certification service, and it isn’t legal or compliance advice. Decisions you make based on what’s sent in, such as approving goods or shipments, are yours.

The service

We work to keep Verisling available, secure and backed up, but we don’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, add or remove features. If we remove something you rely on, or stop offering Verisling, we’ll give reasonable notice and time to export your records.

Ending your use

You can stop using Verisling at any time, and ask us to close your account at support@verisling.com. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put others at risk. Unless the reason is serious misuse, we’ll give you notice and time to export your records first. What happens to your data afterwards is described in the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers

Verisling is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Verisling won’t be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goods or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to Verisling is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$100.

Your responsibility for claims

If someone makes a claim against Verisling because of your content, or the way you collected or used it, or because you broke these terms, you’ll cover the reasonable costs of that claim, including legal fees.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We’ll change the date at the top, and tell customers about significant changes by email or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect. Using Verisling after that means you accept the new terms.
